Happy Friday Beauty Buddies,
Oh yes it’s that glorious day when you know the weekend has finally arrived (and hopefully) you’ll have two rather blissfull days with no alarm set either. It’s time to indulge & let your locks down for a girly night out or in! So as a little tribute to the end of the working week I thought I’d share my top cosmetic fancies that I use Monday – Friday to create a quick, simple & effective look for work. Who knows, maybe you’ll end up treating yourself to a few of these things over the weekend to add to your own make-up menu for Monday morning. Sitting comfy? Then let’s get started…

Loreal Infallible 24 Hour – Matte: I’ve been branching out and trying a few new foundations lately & I have to admit (so far) L’Oreal haven’t disappointed on price & staying power. If you’re looking for an affordable every day Matte finish full/medium coverage foundation then give this a go, it gives a beautiful airbrushed appearance to the skin.
Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer: This is also a newbie in my make-up collection however the formula is very light weight so if you’ve hard to cover blemishes you may need something a little heavier as the consistency is very creamy. A great light-weight every day concealer that is perfect for work.
The Collection Gorgeous Glow: This gives such a beautiful peachy tint to the skin, a pocket friendly alternative to the Soap & Glory Peach Party in my humble opinion.
Real Techniques Duo Fibre Brush: This helps gives an even glow without the risk of applying too much blush or bronzer. If you often find yourself a little heavy-handed with dressing your cheeks then give this bristly little cosmetic companion a whirl – you won’t regret the investment!

Gosh Cosmetics Length N Build Mascara: I’m mega impressed with how much volume and length this affordable mascara gives my lashes – perfect for everyday use with no frequent flaking.
Bourjois ColorBand Eye Shadow & Liner Pencil in 04 Rose Fauviste: Forget faffing with palettes, this gorgeous eye shadow pencil from Bourjois gives the lids a quick wash of colour & a lovely creamy feel with no cracking or premature fading.
The Natural Collection Shadow in Asteroid: For a mere £1.99 I’m SO impressed with these cute little eye-shadow solo’s. I love a quick wash of Asteroid or Milk Chocolate on the outer crease to give a quick pop of definition.
Rimmel Eye Liner in Nude: Perfect for brightening up tired eyes and bringing out the colour just that little bit more.
Barry M Eyebrow Kit: Yes, you’re probably tired of reading me whittle on about how great this teeny compact is but I’m telling you ladies it’s such an effective yet inexpensive way to shape and define your brows. It really does have all you need to complete the look.

A quick close up of the Bourjois Colorband Eye Shadow Pencil & Natural Collection Solo Shadow in the outer crease!

MUA Sweet Sheen Lip Balm in Coral Reef: You know I’m all about the balm this weather gals & after discovering this little MUA beauty for a mere £2 it’s the perfect companion for a quick wash of colour. It’s also super hydrating for dry lips… best of both worlds right? Quick & effective = win win!

Taa Daa… my final look for work. Created in minutes but lasts all day (okay, maybe a little balm touch up is required but who’s grumbling at such a pretty colour right?!)

What’s your current favourites for a simple office look? How long do you spend on a work day beauty regime? Whatever your thoughts I’d love to read them in the comments below. Wishing y’all an awesome weekend 😉
Cheerio Chums…
