Behind The Blog featuring Emma from Puddle Side Musings…

Puddle Side Musings

Hey Chums…

Firstly a huge big thank you for all the awesome feedback & oodles of kind comments on yesterdays feature Building A Beauty Room: The Reveal. It’s been such a fun and inspiring project to work on and I honestly can’t thank my hubby enough for putting all the hours into making it such the perfect little space. Best of all is how affordable the entire room cost to put together, so if home decor and organisation (particularly on a budget) sounds right up your street then do get over and check it out; you just might find yourself rolling up the sleeves for a spot of DIY too!

Talking of organisation, I’m beyond chuffed to introduce y’all to one of my awesome blog buddies who’s a massive inspiration when it comes to creative planning, crafting and organisation tips, as the talented Emma from Puddle Side Musings joins us on the virtual sofa. I’m often in awe at this gals creativity, as pretty much anything she puts her hand to seems to radiate the immense talent and skill this creative blogger hoards. Of course being an Irish blogger (like moi) always makes it extra special introducing someone a little closer to home for a change 🙂

So grab your cuppa & get comfy for five as we take a quick peek Behind The Blog with Emma…

Emma Puddle Side Musings

In only 5 words describe what readers can expect from your blog:

Crafting, planning…and other things!

.

What inspired you to start blogging?

Peer pressure. Look, I was 17. I was young and all my friends were doing it! I started blogging because a friend kept telling me to post photos of my art online. I’m 23 now but you know, old habits die hard.

 .

Tell us about your blog name… what made you decide on it?

Because my blog is my space to think about things and it’s from an Irish perspective. I thought about Pond Side Musings (you know, because Irish people sometimes refer to the Atlantic Ocean as a pond, like ‘ah sure, America, it’s just across the pond there’) but I liked the idea of Puddle Side Musings more, maybe because it reflects how much it rains here.

Do you ever suffer from Blogger’s Block & if so how do you overcome it?

I haven’t been blogging too long with Puddle Side Musings so I’ve been spared so far (let’s try keep it that way!). Blogger’s Block has been the death of two other blogs of mine though so I’m trying to keep notes of any and all blog ideas I have and crafts I might like to try. Also, I swear all that time on Pinterest is research to prevent blogger’s block!

.

What’s your favourite post to date?

At the moment, I think the post on My Craft Room Workspace – because it shows off my craft supplies in a lovely clean room…and it may never be that organised again!

https://puddlesidemusings.wordpress.com/2015/10/01/my-craft-room-workspace/

.

Describe your everyday clothes style:

Lazy and an ‘eh, I’m not leaving the house today’ style.

.

What are your current top 3 beauty items?

I don’t have a large collection of beauty products, but at the moment because my lips are in an awful condition, I’m quite liking Lush’s Santa’s Lip Scrub and their Honey Trap Lip Balm. And…you know what, I can’t think of a third at the moment!

.

How do you like to relax & unwind after a stressful day?

With a cup of tea, a hot water bottle, a blanket and Netflix, or maybe some Grand Designs on tv.

.

Describe your ideal Saturday night:

See above! (What, who doesn’t want to spend their night in with Keven McCloud!)

.

What do you do to relax?

Drink a cup of tea. Or five.

.

Everyone has their bad habits, what’s yours?

I ramble. I use far more words than I need to to get a point across. I blame that on doing an English degree. Aslo, I procrastinate a lot and it takes me forever to get around to doing things. Really, I have so many bad habits I can’t think of which is worst!

.

What’s your most cherished childhood memory?

Leaving early from school one day when I was 11 to go down to Cork with my family and to meet a new member to the family –a black labrador puppy named Victor. He’s quite grey now (13 years old) but he’s still my puppy!

.

What was your favourite school subject?

In secondary school it was art, and I hated languages – so with a decision that made absolutely perfect sense, I decided not to go to art college but study languages at university. At college my favourite subject was Japanese.

.

What’s your dream job?

Making a living from selling things that I make…in my hobbit hole. That’s not entirely necessary to the dream job but it would be rather nice. I would very much like to live in a hobbit hole.

.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Aged 28 and trying to pay of the loans I’ll need to do a master’s degree – what can I say, I’m a realist!

.

What top 5 things are on your bucket list?

  1. Go to Hobbiton
  2. Travel around Japan
  3. See the northern lights
  4. Find a career that makes me happy
  5. See a total solar eclipse

.

What’s your biggest achievement to date?

Either graduating with a first class honours degree or tricking people into thinking I understand Japanese by surviving four years of it at university.

.

Who inspires you?

To give a vague answer – people who are able to get things done! I spend a lot of time procrastinating so I really admire people who are make a difference in the world by doing something with their lives.

.

Do you have a favourite inspirational quote?

“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.” – Gandalf the Grey

Yes, my inspiration quote is from The Lord of the Rings.  Or else, “Not all those who wander are lost.”

.

What top tips would you give to someone who is thinking of starting their own blog?

Don’t jump straight into it! Especially if you’re unsure what exactly you want your blog to be about. Take your time, work on building up a supply of blog ideas, writing draft posts and when you feel like you’ve fond your style, then start your blog

.

Building A Beauty Room: The Reveal…

I’ve been on my beauty blogging journey for almost 18 months now. Time flies when you’re having fun right? 😉 I started out with my humble make-up bag half full of staple cosmetics, yet somehow over the past year or so it’s become (almost) a full time hobby with a variety of lotions, potions and countless eye shadows that have pretty much taken over every little nook and cranny of my bedroom. Naturally, when my hubby came up with the pretty nifty solution of me ‘taking over’ the spare room I couldn’t resist the idea of having my own space to blog, create, craft and spend countless free hours conjuring up an array of fun make-up looks. What gal could resist?

After ten days of intense DIY my little beauty room/office space is finally finished. All the chipped & broken nails, cursing at unfathomable flat-pack instructions, trips to the DIY store and half drunk cups of tea were certainly worth the effort, as even I’ll admit it’s turned out even better than I imagined – all thanks to Steve’s handy work and a little bit of vision and creativity on my part. I love it. From the moment I open the door to the second I close it, I feel like I’m in my own little haven.

Best of all, pretty much everything is from the shelves of Ikea so it’s super affordable. From the cute little picture shelf displaying my entire polish collection to the huge corner desk that was so easily adapted for my ring lamp. Okay, so there might be a few little extra’s I’ve picked up along the way but I couldn’t resist such pretty little accessories that really give the room a subtle sprinkle of chic femininity!

So if you’re thinking of decorating on a budget, revamping a room or simply on the look out for some sassy but affordable storage for your cosmetic bits & bobs, then I really hope this weeks video will help inspire you too!

Cute Miniature Wall Frames for your Beauty or Office Space…

DIY Cute Miniature Beauty and Office Frames

As a few of you already know, I’m in the final stages of a fun DIY project at the moment… transforming our spare room into an office/beauty space. As my creative juices are well and truly flowing I find myself rolling up the sleeves and tackling a few little crafty projects, just to add some cute personal touches to my new workspace. One of my favourite projects this week has been this easy peasy transformation of these dinky little Ikea frames I had lying in the bottom of my craft drawers…

DSC02123

After many months of feeling unloved and abandoned from lying in the bottom of my craft drawers, it was finally time to dust them off and bring them to life by incorporating some really simple but effective artwork. So if you’re looking for some inspiration to bring a sprinkling of creativity to your walls why not give this a go? It’s a 15 minute project that will undoubtedly add a touch of girly glamour to any bare looking wall area.

As my new space will be used for both blogging & beauty, I wanted a variety of colours, themes and textures rather than one particular subject. With the frame inserts being so tiny (8x9cm) I thought I’d take to the pages of some old magazines I had lying about that were ready for recycling.

DSC02125

1) For the first frame I decided to use some simple magazine text. I thought this would tie in rather niftily with the vast amount of typing I do – kinda keeping in with the blogging ‘editorial’ style theme. Once I found the text I wanted I lightly drew around the frame insert, cut it out and popped it into place. Voila – job done!

DSC02132

2) For the second frame I wanted something a little more cosmetic related. After browsing through the beauty section of the magazine I stumbled across an image of raw eye shadows – perfect for the gal who’s addicted to shadow palettes 😉 Again I repeated the step of placing the frame insert over the image and drawing around the outside with pencil before trimming and slotting in into place.

DSC02133

3) For my third frame I decided on something quite patterned that would compliment a few of the nik naks I have scattered around the room itself. I’m all for florals and ‘shabby chic’ so when I spotted this floral printed suit in the fashion directory of the magazine I knew it would add a subtle hint of nature-inspired femininity.

DSC02135

.

WA3

As much as I enjoyed the easy-peasy task of picking different patterns and styles from the magazine, I’m always a fan of creating something handmade. For my fourth frame I decided to add a personal touch by paying homage to my creative streak & sketching something simple. My instant thought was a set of lips, not only due to my cosmetic drawers being laden with glosses and lippies, but also because of my step into YouTube that has enabled me to gain the confidence to chatter in front of the camera. Of course, anyone else looking at the frame will assume it’s just a drawing of a set of lips but it means a little more than that to me 😉

DSC02129

For this I used my Faber Castell watercolour pencils. I absolutely adore this set, as it give you the freedom to draw free hand however once finished you can transform your drawing into a watercolour painting by simply running a dampened brush over the artwork. It’s quick, easy and totally mess free = win win win!!!

DSC02134

.

WA4

How cute are these? Such an affordable yet effective way to add a little touch of personality to any beauty area or work space…

DSC02130

These mini Ikea Tysslinge frames also come in a choice of colours & finishes should you prefer black, white, wood or metal effect – the choice is entirely up to you. So why not put your old magazines to use or create some personalised drawings to brighten up your office or beauty space?

Keeping Up With Karen…

Keeping Up With Karen

Is it just me or are blog intro’s notoriously hard to write? It’s not that I don’t have anything to say but starting off has always seemed like giving a speech with a mouthful of marbles… awkward & down right bizarre. Needless to say I haven’t had my coffee this morning (yet) so I’m assuming that is most likely 50% of the issue right there 😀

However on a slightly more positive note this week’s been great – other than sporting a few flat-pack building war wounds… bruises, slices and broken nails *rolls eyes* Thankfully though I made up for my lack of stereo typical femininity by treating myself to a hair colour, mini manicure and night out with the ladies. Well I say night out but it was actually more of a Chinese & Cocktails night at a great friends house – aren’t those nights just the best?

Thankfully today, I’m hangover free and ready to tackle a day of writing, scheduling and possibly some long overdue procrastination on YouTube 😉 And if you fancy a little of the same, then here’s a quick round-up of this weeks fun features so grab your cup & get comfy chums…

Building A Beauty Room…

Photo 5

I’m literally aching from head to toe. Muscles I never knew I had are begging me to forget about everything other than staying still for at least 10 minutes. This weekend has been one of a kind, but productive beyond my imagination. All my verbal moaning and creaking joints are indeed the war wounds of rolling up the sleeves for ‘Operation: Building A Beauty Room’.

As I mentioned ever so briefly in yesterday’s catch-up post I’d be undergoing a little bit of DIY & room transformation… you see the thing is, no one EVER tells you that when dip your toe into beauty blogging that it literally takes over your bedroom – if not your entire life! 😀

IMG_1889

(Above: How it all began… a make-up bag & a blog)

When I first launched Confetti & Curves I was relatively chuffed with the contents of my little makeup bag, but it wasn’t long until I was wrestling with the zipper, desperately willing my little raspberry coloured case of cosmetics to close as I tried to convince myself that it could withstand just one more mascara. Sadly over time there was no hope for it. With a wish list growing at an astounding pace (due to regularly feasting my eye upon a multitude of influential reviews) along with quite a few fabulous opportunities from upcoming brands and sponsorships, the contents of my make-up bag quickly outgrew their fuchsia home and had been reshuffled to a dedicated corner of the bedroom – which started to slowly envelope the remainder of my boudoir! My poor hubby was battling for space to set a roll-on deodorant whilst my array of lotions and potions patrolled the bedroom like a miniature army…

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not because I’m messy – I’m far from it. In fact if anything my OCD drives everyone else in the house up the walls. God forbid the toilet roll isn’t straight or the cap of the fairy liquid isn’t clicked on tight and it’s not perched correctly beside the scouring brush… and don’t even get me started on cushions, candles and how my towels are displayed or my eye-shadow palettes are arranged *rolls eyes* Yes, even I know I’m a walking nightmare for neatness, tidiness and pristine organisation. So when Steve lovingly offered (yes ladies, he offered) to surrender his man cave (aka our spare room) and treat me to some lovely new furniture to transform it into somewhat of a cosmetic haven how could I resist? Only now do I know how Carrie felt when Mr Big built that closet… okay, so maybe my two hours in Ikea didn’t exactly surmount to that but it felt every bit as awesome I can assure you 😉

photo 1

(Above: A rather uninteresting picture of just a few of the boxes we somehow managed to pack into the car)

So, after our trip to Ikea we returned home with a car practically laden with everything a gal could need in the form of flat pack – including bags of paint & paraphernalia we’d raided on a detour to the local DIY super-store.  Of course in my infinite wisdom *sigh* I decided to roll up the sleeves at 8pm on Saturday evening to tackle the first project which was to transform an old chest of drawers into sleek new white cabinet with gorgeous little chrome knobs. Delighted with the fruits of my labour, both hubby and I then proceeded to start building flat-pack at 11pm (!!) Not such a great idea *rolls eyes* By 1am we literally fell into bed in a stupor, mentally questioning whether or not that last illusive little screw was indeed a spare or if the entire structure would come crashing down at the mere sight of a cotton bud. We’d soon find out, right?

photo 3

(Above: A very old chest of drawers getting a much needed make-over)

Come Sunday morning we were up bright and early, screwdrivers in one hand & paint rollers in the other, ready to tackle what (we hoped) would be our final day of DIY. And I’m deeeelighted to say it was… well, almost! There’s still a few more tasks on the ‘To Do’ list but the back of the project is well and truly broke – along with both of ours *groan* Needless to say, Steve worked like an absolutely trooper, whilst wielding a frightening amount of power tools for modifying desks, shelves and pretty much anything else that resembled a piece of crafted carpentry.

photo 2

(Above: Just a peek a a few of the little extra essentials for the new room)

Today’s post may not be my usual make-up menu, blog tips or beauty ramblings but considering that you guys have been the biggest part of my blogging journey I thought it would be a fun project to share right here on the blog. It may only be a sneak peek of what we’ve been getting up to but I promise to give y’all a tour when it’s spruced up and ready for use!

My Make Up & Beauty Storage Tour…

If there’s one thing I adore treating myself too (almost as much as make-up) is storage… ESPECIALLY when it’s for stashing my beloved beauty items in *happy sigh* Being a fan of cooing over other beauty blogger & YouTuber storage videos/posts! I’ve been meaning to film this for a while, but as I’ve recently orchestrated a huuuuuge clear out (in the hope that Santa might help replenish the stock level *hehe*) what better time to show you guys around my little cosmetic corner?

As I’m sure you’ll figure out pretty rapidly, I’m slightly obsessed with Ikea. Okay so I might not be the biggest fan of wandering aimlessly around a never ending showroom in search of a loo roll holder, however when I’m on a mission to unearth the best bargains in beauty storage I’m one very focused gal on a mission. If you’re considering revamping your cosmetic storage then I’d highly suggest you take a trip over… in a rather large vehicle!! If you’re anything like me you’ll be returning home with shelving units and desk chairs strategically placed to test your boot space to the limit. However (if also like me) you prefer to avoid the hustle & bustle of a weekend then aim for a weekday morning to really lavish in the solitude to uncover your anticipated purchases. I personally find Tuesday mornings to be the quietest 😉

Anyways, hope y’all enjoy this week’s video guys, don’t forget to pop over to my channel by *clicking here* where you can subscribe so you never miss an upload! *excited air punch*

Has everyone survived the Black Friday carnage without injury? I hope y’all came home armed with bundles of bargains, as for me I opted to avoid the high street mayhem this year by preparing to convert the abode into somewhat of a mini winter-wonderland. It’s now hubby’s job to venture into the depths of Spiderville (aka the attic) the retrieve our array of fairy lights, baubles & giant stuffed snowmen.

I’m really beginning to feel festive already… heck I’ve even got the seasonal DVD’s lined up including: Elf, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Jack Frost, Planes Trains & Automobiles, Polar Express, The Grinch, Muppets Christmas Carol…. I literally could go on and on!

However without ranting too much about the arrival of the Jolly Hols, if you fancy feasting your eye’s over a quick catch up on the weekly shenanigans then here’s a short run through of what’s been happening over the last few days here on Confetti & Curves, so grab your cuppa and let’s get started…

DIY Cute Snow Owl Christmas Decorations…

Cute Snow Owl Christmas Decoration Crafts

As promised, I previously mentioned I’d be rolling up my sleeves and causing havoc with plundering through my abandoned craft drawers. However as the ‘season to be jolly’ is closing in (and many of us are preparing to embark on the perilous journey into the attic to dust off our Christmas trees) what better way to kick start the shenanigans than with an easy peasy festive craft? As most of you already know my love for anything owl related runs pretty deep, so this seemed the perfect project to get started. Fancy giving it a go too? Then’s here how…

DIY Snow Owl Craft Tutorial Collage

Fold over each half of the tops of your toilet roll tubes until they’re closed & resembling the shape of an owls head. Next it’s time to load up your paint brush with a dose of white paint and get smothering your loo or kitchen rolls. I used regular white craft paint as it dries quick & is super affordable from pretty much any super market or craft supply store. You’ll probably need a few coats to make sure there’s no patches or uneven coverage.

Ps: metallics paints such as rose gold or silver also look incredible too!

.

chsno04

DIY Snow Owl Craft Tutorial Collage 27

Whilst you’re helplessly waiting on your painted loo rolls drying, it’s time to get crafty with your card. Using a penny & two pence piece as a guide (or whatever alternatives in your own currency) draw at least 7-10 circles using the smaller coin on the back of the card. Next draw another 2 circles with the larger coin for the eyes. Lastly you’ll need to draw 2 wings – an elongated tear shape is super simple to draw. Using a sharp pair of craft scissors cut out your shapes and set them to one side.

Repeat this step for every owl you’ll be making!

.

chsno05

DIY Snow Owl Craft Tutorial Collage 3

Once the body of your owls are touch dry it’s time to break out the craft glue and start gluing on the extra details. PVA craft glue is ideal for this as it’s strong, easy to work with, dries clear & very quickly. I find it easier to pour a little onto a paper plate & use a cotton bud to apply to the back of the shapes.

Start off by gluing the two larger circles near the top of the body for eyes. Next add the smaller circles to resemble chest detail. I started with the top row and overlayed them working down… 3 rows are more than enough for this. Lastly glue on the wings by ensuring the wider part of the tear drop is the part you stick to the sides of the body.

.

chsno06

DIY Snow Owl Craft Tutorial Collage 4

Finally it’s time to finish the face details.  For the eyes you can use buttons, googly eyes (that can be bought from most craft stores_ or opt for simple little cut outs like myself & Em’s did. Using a piece of black foam (or card) cut out another two circles using the smaller coins as a guide & stick them in the centre of the larger sparkly circles. To add a fun little pupil cut out two tiny white circles and glue them onto the black circles. A hole-punch is ideal for these if you have one to hand!

To create the owl’s beak all you’ll need is a teeny triangle of orange coloured card. Carefully stick it underneath the owls eyes and you’re good to go!

.

Voila! Your DIY Owls are now complete! Why not add some string so you can hang them from the tree or you could create a little owl mobile? Our little sparkly owl family will be perched along a window sill until the tree goes up next weekend!! *woo hoo* 😀

I’ve been reading other blogs for a while and all the tutorials I came across were perfectly done.  I figured I couldn’t be the only one who couldn’t apply makeup fantastically, so I set up a blog to show people it’s ok not to be prefect first time around, it takes practice.  I also wanted to add bits about my home life as my boyfriend and I are renovating a house and garden at the moment!

.

Tell us about your blog name… what made you decide on it?

It’s the name given to me by my Xbox when I created a live account.  It’s kinda stuck now so I use it for everything.

.

Do you ever suffer from Blogger’s Block & if so how do you overcome it?

Luckily as I’ve only been blogging for just over two weeks, I’ve not had the dreaded BB yet.  I’m pretty sure if I did, a strong cup of coffee or tea and a trawl through the internet would give me ideas.

.

What’s your favourite post to date?

Awww, this is hard.  If you mean my own posts, then probably my smoky eye look post.  It was the first time I’d ever attempted to copy a tutorial and I had loads of fun doing it. https://closingwinter.wordpress.com/2015/08/08/attempting-a-smoky-eye-look/

If you’re talking someone else’s blog, then probably yours! (*blush*)  I absolutely loved reading through your Helpful Resources post (http://confettiandcurves.com/2015/08/17/helpful-resources-for-budding-beauty-bloggers/)

“Aaawwh, what a compliment, thank you kindly Holly 🙂 – Karen x”

.

Describe your everyday clothes style:

Very casual.  You’re likely to find me wearing jeans (either my own or my boyfriend’s ripped ones), a t-shirt/vest top and my beloved Converse.

.

What are your current top 3 beauty items?

I’m loving my Garnier micellar water, Boots Coconut Oil and my Sleek palettes.

.

How do you like to relax & unwind after a stressful day?

Watching crap tv, cuddling with my boyfriend and cat.  I also find blogging therapeutic.

.

Describe your ideal Saturday night:

See above.  I definitely prefer a night in to a night out.  If I meet up with friends, it’s usually at each other’s house, rather than a pub/club.

.

What do you do to relax?

I like baking and reading blogs.

.

Everyone has their bad habits, what’s yours?

Speaking before thinking!

.

What’s your most cherished childhood memory?

Going to visit my grandparents in Devon.  They died when I was 8 so I struggle to remember all the details, but there are some, like my Grandpa’s mint jar and the lovely smell of their kitchen, that I remember vividly.

.

What was your favourite school subject?

Probably English.  I used to love writing stories.

.

What’s your dream job?

I have no idea.  I’ll let you know when I’ve found it!!

.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Still blogging, maybe married with a child.  Or on a beach somewhere.

.

What top 5 things are on your bucket list?

Sky dive, see the pyramids at Giza, gamble in Las Vegas, get married, and go to Monaco to watch Formula 1 live.

.

What’s your biggest achievement to date?

I was self-employed for 4 years when I was 20.  I owned a gothic clothing shop.  It was an incredible experience!

.

Who inspires you?

My friends Sarah, Charlie, Jess and Amy.  They’re all really strong amazing women and inspire me to do great things.

.

What top tips would you give to someone who is thinking of starting their own blog?

If you’re doing it for money, don’t even click the sign up now box.  Do it because you have something to say and want to share that with others.

Behind The Blog featuring Seri’s Blog…

Seris Blog

Howdy y’all…

Apart from being deliriously happy it’s only one more sleep til another weekend descends upon us, I’m also a bit of a cheery chappy to introduce the ever so smiley Seri from Seri’s Blog joining me on the virtual sofa today! *woo hoo* Ladies, you’re most definitely in for a treat with this talented young gal as her blog is a little treasure trove of lifestyle, beauty, food, reviews… pretty much everything fun & fabulous!

Not only is she a superb blogger, she’s also the co-founder of A Dollar Campaign (I hope you don’t mind me linking this Seri!!!) which is a superb cause that’s dedicated to finding a cure to pediatric cancer. Being a mama, this is an issue that’s most definitely fiercely close to my own heart… to see the great efforts of others (like Seri) being put into fighting such a worthy cause for children suffering from such a heart breaking illness is just incredibly moving. Keep up the amazing work Seri – I’m pretty sure the whole WordPress family is in major support of your hard efforts!

So please do take the time this morning to settle down with your cuppa and get to know this fabulous young lady a whole lot better, she’s such an inspiration and I’ve no doubt you’ll adore her & her blog every bit as much as I do!!

Seri

(Seri & her twin sis!)

What inspired you to start blogging?

This question involves a bit of a back story. And it starts with the hit TV show the Bachelor! I was watching Sean Lowe’s season and I decided to follow him on Instagram. From his Instagram, I came across his sister’s account. She had a blog called Mix and Match Mama. I really loved her blog and started reading it every day. From her blog, I came across many others that I fell in love with. Before that, I hardly even knew about the blogging world!

About a year later, I decided to launch my own blog! I wanted to create a place where you could find everything you need in one place. That’s why I have such a broad range of topics on my blog.

.

Tell us about your blog name… what made you decide on it?

Well at first I wanted to call it “The Everything Blog” but that was taken! So I decided to use my name instead. Seri’s blog was born! I wish I had a more interesting story!

.

Do you ever suffer from Blogger’s Block & if so how do you overcome it?

I usually don’t, and here’s why– Whenever I have an idea, I ALWAYS write it down right away. I also keep a separate calendar just for my blogging schedule. I have all my posts scheduled for weeks in advance. So in case I do have blogger’s block, it’s okay because I have time tofigure it out!

.

What’s your favourite post to date?

I love the About Me posts that I post every Wednesday. But my very favorite post is when I shared my homemade gift ideas. I love this post because I love getting creative while making things for the people I love!
