Keeping Up With Karen…

Is it just me or are blog intro’s notoriously hard to write? It’s not that I don’t have anything to say but starting off has always seemed like giving a speech with a mouthful of marbles… awkward & down right bizarre. Needless to say I haven’t had my coffee this morning (yet) so I’m assuming that is most likely 50% of the issue right there 😀

However on a slightly more positive note this week’s been great – other than sporting a few flat-pack building war wounds… bruises, slices and broken nails *rolls eyes* Thankfully though I made up for my lack of stereo typical femininity by treating myself to a hair colour, mini manicure and night out with the ladies. Well I say night out but it was actually more of a Chinese & Cocktails night at a great friends house – aren’t those nights just the best?

Thankfully today, I’m hangover free and ready to tackle a day of writing, scheduling and possibly some long overdue procrastination on YouTube 😉 And if you fancy a little of the same, then here’s a quick round-up of this weeks fun features so grab your cup & get comfy chums…

It’s official… my hoards of cosmetics, lotions & potions, one enormous ring lamp, tripods and all other beauty blogging paraphernalia has finally out grew my little corner of the bedroom. And with my hubby insisting I take reipt of the spare room it’s time to hit Ikea, roll up the sleeves & get started on  building the new Confetti & Curves HQ 😀

Worth The Hype? Maybelline FIT ME Foundation

Considering the hype this foundation has been making amongst us gals, I finally get to test it out for myself. But does it really live up to my expectations, or does my search for the perfect every-day foundation continue?
