Firstly a huuuuge thanks to all who stopped by yesterday’s post ‘When To Trash Your Stash‘… as much as I hate being the bearer of bad news when it comes to parting with your favourite nostalgic lippy it’s equally as important we realise the pesky hidden dangers that can lurk in the depths of our make up bags… that could end up corroding our complexions with a cocktail of nasties *eurgggh* However it’s been great reading your comments & tweets about the subject, I’m glad I’m not the only one guilty of hoarding beauty goodies a little longer than recommended *ahh hmm*

What inspired you to start blogging?

I wanted to share my love for makeup and beauty (first of all), books, cooking and any other things I’m passionate for.

 .

Tell us about your blog name… what made you decide on it?

I didn’t want a name that restricted me to write just about a certain area, so I came up with Not just makeup, that implies that I’ll write a lot about makeup/skincare, but I’ll also feel like sharing some trips or some good books with my readers.

Do you ever suffer from Blogger’s Block & if so how do you overcome it?

Even though I only have this blog for only 5 months, I also “suffer” from Blogger’s Block from time to time, especially because I want to keep my schedule and post every Tuesday. To overcome it I try as best as I can to write down all my ideas in advance so when I can’t find anything good for a certain week, I’ll just read through them. Also if I have a really great idea and I’m in the mood to write some articles, I’ll do it then and keep it for “rainy days”.

Casual, comfortable and a hint of sexy.

and of course my LORAC Pro Palette.

How do you like to relax & unwind after a stressful day?

Depends, either I’m staying in, drinking a glass of wine and watching funny, mindless TV series with my boyfriend or we’ll go out and meet with some friends.

Describe your ideal Saturday night:

If it’s summer, I’d like to go really late, when it’s less hot outside, for a long walk and then stop somewhere to drink lemonade.

If it’s winter, I’ll probably be too lazy to want to go out. Maybe a cup of a warm beverage and a good book should do the trick.

What do you do to relax?

Like I said before: mindless TV series, some alcoholic beverage or a book. I also like to do my nails when I’m in the mood.

Everyone has their bad habits, what’s yours?

Binge eating when I watch something.

What’s your most cherished childhood memory?

Hmm… I don’t know. They’re many. I like a lot all of my birthdays. They were all so different and I can remember well almost all of them.

What was your favourite school subject?

Physics and Inorganic Chemistry.

What’s your dream job?

Some job where I do want I like, where my results are significant for the people I work with and I wake up most of the time looking forward for the rest of the day.

I know that no job it’s perfect but there have been periods of time in my life where I felt I had my dream job.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Living in Germany with my boyfriend, “having my dream job” and visiting different places every time we got the chance.

What top 5 things are on your bucket list?

I never thought about this subject and honestly I have no idea. I think I just want to be happy and surrounded by the people I love. (I know… cheesu)

What’s your biggest achievement to date?

I don’t know. Probably having a good and stable income.

Everyone who works hard and knows what he/she wants.

What top tips would you give to someone who is thinking of starting their own blog?

Do it for you, not for the money or “fame”.

Don’t compare yourself to others.

Make a schedule and try you best to keep it.
