Hey Beauty Buddies,

I’m sure and certain winter has landed here exceedingly early. I’m currently listening to the wind (and rain) howling outside the window as rather dramatic looking waves crash onto the shore. If you didn’t know any better you’d swear it was a mid December afternoon! I’m almost expecting the neighbours to  start decorating their windows in fairy lights and snow flakes. BRING BACK SUMMER… I’m not ready yet to pack away my stripey Ikea parasol  *sob* Thankfully though ladies I’m here with a much prettier ‘sky’ than the one looming above me today – yes I have thee gorgeous Skye from Pretty Pink Possum on the virtual sofa of sassiness to help cheer up our summer blues this morning.

What inspired you to start blogging?

All you fellow bloggers inspired me to start blogging because i was reading all you guys blogs and just thought to myself I want to be doing that!

Tell us about your blog name… what made you decide on it?

Pink possum was actually my name off my x-box gamer tag, very random i know it just came to me. I wanted to add something to it so I added pretty to make the three p’s

Do you ever suffer from Blogger’s Block & if so how do you overcome it?

 I think we all suffer from bloggers block at some point, I find it helps to jot things down I have a note pad that I write all my ideas down in and sometimes reading other peoples blogs gives me ideas of what to blog about.

What’s your favourite post to date?

Tough question… I think it has to be my lush haul I did https://prettypinkpossum.wordpress.com/2015/05/12/little-lush-haul/ because I love hauls and I love lush! So its a win win.

Describe your everyday clothes style:

Very laid back casual, normally a pair of skinny jeans and a slouchy top or jumper and some dolly daps.

What are your current top 3 beauty items?

Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation,

Younique 3D fibre lash mascara

&

Benefit Hoola bronzer.

How do you like to relax & unwind after a stressful day?

 A nice relaxing bubble bath then into my pjs watching YouTube videos or reading blog posts scoffing ice cream.

Describe your ideal Saturday night:

Me and my friends ordering tonnes of Dominos pizzas and having a pamper sesh and movie night!

What do you do to relax?

Again watch YouTube videos or read some blog posts 🙂

Everyone has their bad habits, what’s yours?

 I pick my nails and it drives my partner insane he tells me off for it *oops*

What’s your most cherished childhood memory?

Weekend day trips down Weymouth with my grandparents, wandering round the beach in the evenings and eating fish and chips. I miss those times.

What was your favourite school subject?

English, because I loved writing stories and poems I don’t think I was any good at it but I still enjoyed the subject.

What’s your dream job?

Makeup artist!! Working on a MAC counter and making people feel good about themselves.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully in a house of my own with my partner and my little boy and my pug (I need a pug guys)

What top 5 things are on your bucket list?

 Travel round America,

Take my son to Disneyland,

Get a pug,

Go to Canada and have Tim Hortons

&

To have a daughter.

What’s your biggest achievement to date?

Definitely my son, who is 6 and a half months old. Being a mother is the most amazing thing ever!

Who inspires you?

 My partner, where as I’m a worrier and I give up on things too easy he always figures things out and finds a solution.

Do you have a favourite inspirational quote?

‘Seize the moment, cause tomorrow you might be dead’ -Buffy Summers yes its a quote from Buffy the vampire slayer, one of my favourite TV Shows!

What top tips would you give to someone who is thinking of starting their own blog?

 If you’re thinking about it you should probably be doing it, Just go for it! I was always thinking about starting a blog and then one day I thought I’m gonna do it and I can’t believe I’ve not done it sooner.
