Urban Decay Naked 3 Tutorial & Max Factor Mega Wild First Impressions…

Hey Beauty Buddies…

As so many of you lovely ladies have taken the time to leave such flattering comments about my eye make-up in some of my previous videos and piccies I thought it was high time I shared this easy-peasy everyday eye look with you guys… so here it is gals, my very first tutorial using one of my all time favourite eye shadow palettes – the gorgeous Urban Decay Naked 3 palette.

Of course you don’t (just) need a Naked 3 palette to complete this transformation – with a range of trendy dupes on the market such as the W7 In The NudeΒ palette you can give it a go for a fraction of the price!

Don’t forget to check out my first impressions on the Max Factor Mega Wild Mascara too, what’s your thoughts on it? πŸ˜‰

Hope y’all enjoy, cheerio chums…

  1. Great review Karen! Also have you seen Naked smoky?! I need this in my life! I haven’t got any of the other Naked palettes – For my colouring which do you think would work best? I tend to stick to colder icier colours so taupe and stone, black grey. xxxx

    • Thank you so much huni πŸ™‚ I’m so glad you liked it!! I sure have seen the Naked Smoky & as beautiful as it is I would probably find it a little heavy for my look – but if you love a good smoky eye then it looks to be the palette to have!! πŸ˜€ Honestly, I would suggest the Naked 2 palette as a starting point – it has such a beautiful range of soft cool tones from light through to deep. It works with so many looks & is an incredibly beautiful range of colours – I actually bought it for my sister for her birthday & she adores it so much!! Def the one to start with in my opinion – but whatever you opt for do let me know how you get on huni, you will love them – stunning palettes πŸ™‚ XXXXX

  2. Really enjoyed this tutorial Karen, your eyes look super pretty! That mascara looks good too! It always amazes me how people put mascara on with one hand, I have to switch the brush around and end up using both haha x

      • You’re welcome! I think I am going to have to splurge on a Naked palette after I move though. Too many things coming up the next couple of months with expenses…a couple of birthdays and moving. 3 Birthdays in fact! Lol! Oh well, good things happen to those who wait. πŸ™‚ ❀ XXXX

      • I think you will huni – they’re too good not to treat yourself too… or if you can hold on it would be a nice Christmas pressie for Ron to treat you too πŸ™‚ Oh birthdays are so expensive!! June was crazy here – I was virtually penniless lol Time to start saving eh πŸ˜‰ hehe Xxxxxxx

      • Yep! I will treat myself to it soon! I don’t think Ron likes to buy me makeup though because he thinks I have too much. He was happy to help me complete my Revealed palette collection by Coastal Scents but that was not as pricey lol. Yeah next month is my Mom’s birthday and My BFF Brooke’s birthday and then in September is Ron’s birthday. I think after I buy myself the Naked 3 then I will ask for another Naked palette for a Christmas present from Ron lol. πŸ˜€ Haha! XXXXXXX

      • Lol Steve’s on his wave length then – these men have no idea what the word ‘variety’ means to us ladies πŸ˜€ haha Gee so many birthdays Katie – your purse will be empty after all that spending!! Oooh I like your way of thinking about the Palettes – buy one for you & then one for Christmas πŸ˜‰ brill plan lol XXX

      • Yep I think my purse is going to be empty the next couple of months lol. Oh well, I like buying for other people. It’s a lot of fun! πŸ™‚ So how are you doing? I hope you’re doing better. *HUGS* XXXXXX

      • I love buying pressies too Katie – seeing someone getting so excited about a gift is almost more exciting than receiving them lol Oh I’m doing okay thanks huni, just mulling through each day. Had a massive clear out in the house today and re-decorating the bedrooms, think I just fancy a change and sprucing up πŸ™‚ Keeps my mind busy!! *hugs back at ya chum* ❀ XXXXXXX

      • Yeah I agree! I love buying gifts for people more than I do buying things for myself. πŸ™‚
I’m glad to hear that you’re doing all right. Keeping yourself busy is good! I try to keep myself busy too. πŸ™‚ ❀ XXXXXXX

  4. Love this palette and such a great look! I agree, blend, blend, blend to your heart’s content, lol. I actually start with the eyes and then move to the face because it makes cleaning up any fallout easier for me. Me and Jen from Inside the Beauty Box created some looks using this palette if you ever want more inspiration-it’s under Valentine’s Say looks. πŸ™‚

  6. This looks beautiful πŸ™‚ I’ve got the original Naked palette and I love using it – the powders last for ages since you don’t need to use much of them, and they’ve got great staying power on the lids. Of course now I want to buy Naked 3 too…
