This weekend the sun has been splitting the trees. Every where you go there’s a waft of sun lotion & barbecue smoke… listen closely enough and you can even hear the gentle sound of flip-flops paired with those little battery operated handy fan’s – you know, the type your nan used to pull out of her handbag & waft around. Yep, summer seems to have crept in nicely as the masses slowly turn fifty shades of pink – yet here I am perched below a giant Ikea parasol resembling an extra from a Twilight movie… damn you pale Irish skin!!

    • Oh thank you so much – I think it helps just gathering up all the posts and putting them into one little batch in case anyone wants to check anything out in particular! Have been trying it a few weeks now and enjoying it 🙂 Oh thank you so very much for watching – I must admit I’m not an avid buyer either but was intrigued by the mystery bag and really impressed! Think I got lucky though lol xo

Now that we will be getting temps this coming week up in the 100’s I will likely be staying cool indoors. The sun just gives me more freckles lol.     • Awwwh Katie – so lovely to see a wee comment pop up from you huni 😀 I thought you’d have been on your adventures with Ron still hehe Ooh my gosh that sounds crazy hot – yes stay indoors and avoid burning to a crisp!!! Heck I’m a freckle collector too Katie – I used to wonder though if I got enough of them all joined up it just might look like a half decent tan lol lol Weather lovely here -today very cloudy but still warm!       • Oh no our adventure was very short lol. We just went up on Friday, stayed and came back Saturday afternoon. I was pretty tired from it and my body is still feeling it lol. I feel so bad that Ron has to go to work in this weather and he has to wear pants and a long sleeve dress shirt. Luckily he is allowed to at least roll his sleeves up. I’m glad to hear the weather there is nice for you. 🙂 *huge hugs* XXXXXXXX

      • Oooh – here’s me thinking you were away for the duration too lol Oh I’m sure you came home shattered… will undoubtedly take you a good while to recoup & recover from it! Poor Ron with the work attire – I’m sure he’s half baked 😦 Yes, weather good here – ALOT more manageable that’s for sure lol *maaahoosive hugs back at ya* 😀 XXXXX

      • I wish we could have stayed much longer! lol. But yeah I’m just resting and recovering from the “easy” hike Ron and I went on lol. I am the most unfit person ever. I go from being in a complete sedentary lifestyle to hiking this trail with tons of uphill inclines lol. It was nice and cool up there though. Today it’s reached 107 degrees! So yeah I’ve been resting comfortable with the nice cool air conditioning. 🙂 How is your Monday going? I imagine it’s already being close to over now. I hope that you had a great start though! 😀 XXXXX

      • I promise you there’s one other person more unfit than you are Katie… ME!!!! lol Good for you doing the hike – I’m not sure I’d even entertain the idea so you done yourself proud huni!! Oh my gosh I’m surprised you haven’t melted into a puddle with that heat – that heavens for air con right?! This week has been a bit of an odd one… poor wee Ems is very sick with a viral infection which means I’m having to alter work shifts to accommodate someone always being with her. Very tricky with kids, work & sickness – always a juggling act as my mum doesn’t live near by and of course all the rest of my family have work commitments too!! The joys of parenthood with a sick little lady lol Thankfully though she’s a tad brighter today 🙂 Hope you’re beginning to feel a bit more re-charged huni!! Xxxxxx

      • Awe I am so sorry to hear about Ems! I hope that she will feel better soon! Nothing like being sick when the weather is nice. Poor girl! I’m sure she is glad to have her Mom there with her though. 🙂
        But yes thank heavens for air conditioning! I would melt! I didn’t go outside at all yesterday! Though I think I have to go out later today with Ron to the store for some groceries unfortunately. I am feeling a bit more re-charged from having a blogging break thank you.       • You’re welcome Karen! I’m glad to hear that Ems seems to be feeling better. She is just so adorable!
        I wish it were going to be a quick dash in and out of the store but I’m afraid it will be another average trip lol. It’s not like I can wait for cooler day since the rest of the week is going to be the same lol.
