In only 5 words, describe what readers can expect from your blog:

Reviews, makeup, fashion, hauls, and fun!

.

What inspired you to start blogging?

My love for writing really. I have loved creative writing for around 6 years now, so I combined this with my passion for all things beauty & fashion and voila! My blog was born. Also, my ambition is to study Journalism at University and I have read that you should create a blog in order to expand your writing skills.

.

Tell us about your blog name, what made you decide on it?

Well… It’s quite simple really. It’s my full name haha! I couldn’t think of a ‘fun’ name for my blog so I just ended up going for my name.

.

Do you ever suffer from bloggers block and if you do how do you overcome it?

Yes I do and it is the worst thing ever. I’m always thinking about new blog posts that I could write, but if I cannot think of anything to write I won’t post anything. I want my blogposts to be well written and good content, not rushed and boring.

.

What’s your favourite post to date?

I loved loved loved writing the ‘Lip Junkie’ tag which you can find here https://meganleighstringer.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/the-lip-junkie-tag/. It was actually really fun picking out my favourite lipsticks and recommending them to my followers. I love a good tag!

 .

Describe your every day style.

Classy but casual. I love wearing jeans but paired with a pretty top and some nice jewellery. However if I am feeling lazy I will just go out wearing ugg boots and leggings. I love being comfy. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could get away with wearing our pj’s outside?!

 .

What are your current top 3 beauty items?

Currently I am loving the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in ‘Pink Gold’, my MAC lipstick in ‘Flamingo’ and Eyeko Black Magic Mascara. They are all very very pretty products!!

.

How do you like to unwind and relax after a stressful day?

I love getting a nice bath using my favourite Lush product, which is the Creamy Candy bubble bar. It’s smells so nice it instantly relaxes me. I also love using a face mask and painting my nails. I basically have a massive pamper night for one!

 .

Describe your ideal Saturday Night:

Sitting in front of the TV watching my favourite shows and eating a nice Chinese. My favourite thing to do! However sometimes I do enjoy going out for drinks with my friends. I love socialising!

 .

What do you do to relax?

I love have a loooooong lie in. On weekends I tend to stay in bed till about 1pm which is really bad but I cannot help it; I love sleep!

 .

Everyone has their bad habits. What’s yours?

I tell lots of pointless stories! Words just ramble out of my mouth and I just tell the most stupid of things. I really need to stop it actually haha!

 .

What’s your most cherished childhood memory?

I have so many memories! But one of my favourites has to be when myself and my family used to go to Newquay in the summer. My dad and I used to go body boarding every day and I loved spending time with him out in the sea. I still do!

.

What was your favourite school subject?

Well.. I’m still in school! I’m actually currently studying for my first year of A-Levels; so I’m technically in college. However, my favourite subject is media studies. It always has been ever since I did it at GCSE and it always will be. I find it very interesting.

 .

What’s your dream job?

I reaaaalllly want to be a journalist, working for a magazine or newspaper. Ever since I was little I’ve wanted to do something within writing and as the years have gone by I’ve realised that I want to be a journalist and write for everyone to read.

 .

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I will be 23, so I am hoping that I will have just finished my degree in Journalism (fingers crossed) and have my first job within this field. I want to be in a stable relationship and hopefully have traveled around Europe a little also.

 .

What top 5 things are on your bucket list?

I really want to roadtrip around America. I’ve done California and parts of Nevada but I really want to check out New York and Washington. I want to learn to play the drums, do a skydive, become fluent in French and swim with dolphins!!

 .

What’s your biggest achievement to date?

Well I’m still young, but my biggest achievement to date was completing all my GCSE’s and passing them all. I had a real hard time at school as I found it really hard to concentrate but in the end I came out with high grades and then was able to do the A-Levels I wanted to. Go me!

 .

Who inspires you?

This is cliche, but I’m going to have to say my mum. She does so much for me and I hope that when I have children I am as strong as her and do everything for my children like she has for me and my brother. I love her dearly!

 .

Do you have a favourite inspirational quote?

I do! It’s ‘fall down seven steps, stand up eight’. It’s a fancy way of saving never give up. I want to get this tattooed on me as I love the quote so much.

 .

What top tips would you give to someone who is thinking of starting their own blog?

Be passionate. Nobody wants to read a blog post that you haven’t really given much thought into so really show that you are interested in your writing. Be consistent and upload several times a week, and check out other blogs, and if you like what you see give them comments and likes. Let people know your blog exists and then if they enjoy reading your blog you may get a follow!

 .
