The Me Spree…

Happy Wednesday Beauty Buddies…

Yes, I’m back again today with another video! This time I’m rambling on about a colourful array beauty buys I treated myself to after a mini shopping spree at the weekend – nice, huh? I know I just couldn’t resist, but it feels like it’s been so darn long since I’ve longingly browsed the shelves of my favourite cosmetic stores on the hunt for exciting new finds – needless to say I done pretty well. So what did I buy? Well, I guess you’ll just have to watch and find out for yourself 😉 Do let me know if you’ve tried any of these gorgeous finds yourself!

Cheerio chums…

  1. I’ve been looking for a new mascara lately because I have the same problem! I use one a few times and then I go off of it! You’ve tempted me to give that one a go! Love this post and your video! 🙂 x

  2. Haha I just squealed like fan girl! I’ll be super surprised if you don’t start a raunchy love affair with that mascara. It’s that good.
And I love the RT stippling brush! You don’t hear many people talk about it but I think it’s definitely my favourite, with the cheek brush from Nic’s picks being a close second! Great video lovely! x

      • Haha I’m glad! Did you curl your lashes first? It’s even better if you do! I’m so glad someone understands my obsession now haha!
I never thought I’d be the kind of person who favoured a makeup brush range but I haven’t tried a brush and not liked it! x

  3. Great products Karen! I have heard a lot about Tanya Burr and her lip products but have yet to try them. About the stinging sensation, I honestly think that it could be the toner and the cotton itself that is causing that reaction. I actually was using baby wipes at night to remove my makeup and then following it up with my cleanser and after a while my skin started to feel like it was burning and sort of raw. Any products that I would put on afterward would just make my skin feel so sensitive. After I stopped using the wipes, my skin returned to normal within a week. My advice: Stop using the toner or whatever new product you have introduced in your skincare routine for about a week and see if that makes a difference. You know where to find me in case you have any other questions. 🙂

    • Hey huni thank you so much for the support and great advice!! Thankfully I started using the new cotton pads this last two nights and it’s rectified the situation as I was really beginning to think it was the toner too – which would have been devastating as I love it so much and have used it for over 6 months now without any bother. Using the softer ones I’ve had no raw or burning issues *thankfully* however if it starts back up again I may need to give you a shout! Fingers crossed it doesn’t come to that!!!! Thanks again lovely for everything – much appreciated *hugs* XXX

  4. Great video Karen! It looks like you picked up some really nice things. I am very curious about that mascara though I don’t think it’s in stores here anywhere. It has to be great if Wayne Goss recommends it. 🙂 XXXX

      • I had to hide the brushes in a drawer so I couldn’t see them and be tempted to get involved when I don’t have the time 😀 I think we all hate hearing our own voices, I know I do. You however, I can confirm have a lovely voice, so I definitely look forward to your videos xxx

  7. Yay, a me spree!! What an excellent term 🙂 I may need to try that foundation brush as I haven’t found one I love yet. Also, I’m interested to hear your reviews of various micellar waters – I’ve heard about those but would love to know more!

  8. I’m the same way with my foundation and then I don’t try anything new. I’m so loyal! lol I realize as I get older though I should really try something that is a better fit for my skin so as of lately I’m on the search! 🙂 Great video as always hun! Xo ❤
