      • I might have to give it a go, feel like I have so many posts to write lately haha but I enjoy it. (I haven’t forgotten the post you suggested about colour and tips a few weeks back – I’m working on it I promise!) I find it interesting to hear about people’s tattoos, why they chose them, what they mean etc. xx

      • That’s wonderful you’re so busy huni – keep up the awesome posts, I really enjoy reading them 🙂 Oh don’t worry – just whenever you get round to it!! Yes, I’m like that too about Tattoo’s – unfortunately mine is the most disinteresting of stories as it had no connection to anything… I literally walked in, picked it and paid. And now I bitterly regret it 😦 *grrr* X

  1. Aaah these answers are amazing! Where to start! I share your love of raspberry (which indeed has nothing to do with fuschia), despise celery, always try to grab things from the back of the shelf and adore cemeteries. In fact, I always try to include a cemetery during my holidays so I have now visited them all over the world but it does lead to some weird moments with travel buddies.
We are so similar it is scary 😉
    lots of love Anne

    • I blooming knew we were twinies Anne – I’m telling you our meeting on here was destiny 😉 Yes, to absolutely everything you said!!! Lucky you and your global cemetery trips – absolutely love it 😀 X

      • I know, it is really getting quite silly now. Emma happens to be one of my favorite baby names 😉
Difficult to pick my favorite cemetery, but London has some pretty ones and that isn’t too far from you 🙂 xx

        Liked by 1 person

      • Ooh stop it Anne… we are morphing into one huni!!!! 😉 hahaha Awwh, very sweet you’re a fan of Emma too… I also loved the name Emily, however as Emma’s middle name is Leah when you say it really fast it sounds like Emily with an ‘a’ on the end! So thought Emily Leah was a bit of a mouthful, Emma Leah works better 😀 Okay I’m rambling… time for more tea!!
Ps: You;d love some of the Cemeteries in Edinburgh, they’re fab! I haven’t visited London (yet) but I’ll be sure to check them out if I do 😉 X

        Liked by 1 person

      • Yes it is getting a bit much now… this twinning.
Totally agree, Emma Leah just has a better ring to it 🙂
Edinburgh is high on my to-visit list, might be able to squeeze in a short city trip this summer 😀 Thanks for the tip.
        xx Anne

      • You’ll not be disappointed Anne – beautiful city!!! Steeped in history! I’d have loved to have visited the underground vaults but never quite made it! Another great city I’ve been to is Budapest, the architecture is stunning if you’re into that – really nice 🙂 x

      • Rome, Paris and Sicily I believe! I’ve seen the Paris catacombs and they were absolutely amazing. Spend two hours with colleagues cooing over skeletal deviances and diseases 😀
There is an amazing monastry near Prague were monks have used human bone to decorate: Kutn Hora. Amazing, but you’ll need to book a tour or have a car to get there 😀

        Liked by 1 person

      • Ooooh you didn’t?!?!?! What an AMAZING experience! You really have such an incredible job *sigh* And I had no idea that Paris AND Sicily had them too!!! Are the accessible to the general public? Oh, that monastry in Prague sounds right up my street – I’m missing out on so much, really must get my passport updated and start taking in a few city breaks!!! You’ve NO idea the questions I’d plague you with if we ever get a wee meet up 😀 Xo

        Liked by 1 person

      • Hihihi. Paris is open to the public :D. Not all of it, they are truly massive but a substantial part is 😀
I am not sure about sicily: i believe a part of the catacombs are open to the public and they have a lot of mummification but I haven’t been there yet.
Well, I have honestly been wanting to visit Ireland for a long time 🙂 Will definitely drop by for a cup of tea when I do 😀

  2. Loved reading this! You are hilarious. For a second I misread that you had two grown daughters (that you had birthed) and thought “she looks way too young to have grown daughters!”
Also, what a shame you don’t like wine… 😦 Have you tried Moscato wine? It tastes just like grape juice I swear…

    Like

    • haaaa – wouldn’t that have been an eyeraiser… I know my Dove Pro Age is good but not that good huni lol
Oooh I’ve never try Moscato wine – but now I’m super intrigued as I LOVE grape juice – must give this a go *hmmm* Thanks so much for stopping by lovely, great to read your kind comment 😀 Xo

  3. Love these facts about you! I love visiting graveyards too but I get really crazy and sometimes bring flowers and leave them on gravestones that I have read and touch me. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks too 😦 I hate the dentist and most of the time have to be put to sleep for a simple cleaning and cry weeks before my actual appointment. It is so bad my husband has to make the appointment and tells me the day of so I don’t run off or “get sick” and instead am forced to go. Ahhh the haunted apartment fascinates me, I love hearing about ghosts but am terrified of actually ever seeing one. Have a great day xoxo Janet

    • Awwwh that is actually so very lovely – the world needs more people like you!!!! Gee we really sound very alike Janet, it’s actually quite scary!! The dentist really is terrifying – you poor thing, it’s no fun at all 😦 Yes, the haunted apartment was very scary – a memory that won’t leave me that’s for sure!! Thanks so much for reading & stopping by lovely ❤ Xo xo

      • We do sound very alike lol! It is great meeting fellow eccentric people 🙂 The dentist is no bueno and I always go in teary eyed even though I know they will just put me to sleep. I bet the haunted apartment was scary, I am a big believer in ghosts and even though I go on ghost tours and watch shows I bet it is nothing like the real thing. Good thing you are no longer there. Have a great day Karen ❤

  4. Aha, July baby, see I knew there was a reason I really liked you. 🙂 My oldest is a July baby and one of the sweetest and kindest people I know, I think that just might be a trait July babies have. ❤ 🙂 Oh I think we've all had our share of crazy first driving lessons, I drove over a street divider once and got the car stuck right on top of it. lol Btw that's so amazing you owned two bridal suites! I've always loved the wedding industry, I have one connection into the whole wedding scene where I live, often I think about calling her up and asking some info to get my foot in the door. What can I say I love, love! 🙂 Also I love a fantastic party that goes along with it! hehe Deep raspberry is a gorgeous shade and I would have to agree with you. Btw you know who else is 6ft? Not me but Katie from Plus+Beauty. I was just saying to her the other day she doesn't look it and neither do you from your pictures. I'm jealous of you tall ladies! I bet pants always looks amazing on you both, I'm always getting mine hemmed, 5'5-5'6 over here! Also as a teen we would hangout in graveyards, so I would be right there with you on checking them out. 😀 We would go there since that seemed to be the only place were no one would bother us, not mention the creep factor of them, it was fun. 🙂 Oh I loved all of your answers and if we lived close we would get on like peas in a pod, you seem like such a fun and interesting person. xo

    • Firstly – I’m not EVER gonna fight the argument that Julyh babies are super lovely… I’ll take that Jen lol Seconding loling like a loon at your driving story – that beats mine hands down hahaha
Ooh you REALLY should make that call and get yourself in the door, at least give it a go and see if it’s for you – I personally think you’d thrive in it huni 🙂
Haaa yes, that’s right – Katie is 6ft too, we’re a bunch of giraffes around here lol Isn’t the internet so darn height deceptive haha
Oooh Jen, why is there such a vast stretch of water keeping us all apart – we’d be such awesome wee besties!!! Met so many lovely people on here that I know I’d love to have as chummies in real life – you know we’d probably spend more time with each other gabbling than with our hubbies right?!?! lol Such girlies 😀 Thanks for such a lovely comment as always huni, we really are two wee peas hehe ❤ Xo

Thankfully I’ve never hit a bin or traffic cone since – however another pheasant run out on my before Christmas… cried for days over it!!! Why do they always pick my car to jump in front off?!? *arrrgh* Xx

      • Oh nooo! I always have squirrels run out in front of me. I’ve had a few close calls, but so far, I’ve avoided them. They also run out in front of me in trails when I’m biking. I’d cry for days as well.

      • Oooh gosh a wee squirrel?!!? Oh that’s just so heart wrenching 😦 Hopefully you’ll continue to avoid – or better still they’ll stop darting out in front of cars/bike *sigh* Honestly Romy, it’s the worst thing – the wails of me is unnatural!!! :*( x

  7. Loved reading your 50 random facts! I feel I can relate to at least two of them – the anxiety and panic attacks (never talked about it or had it diagnosed but that explains the helplessness I feel in an uncomfortable situation where I can’t think straight ) and the indecisiveness too. Love your blog Karen, your writing puts a smile on my face each time! 🙂

    • Thank you so much lovely – I’m chuffed you enjoyed it !!! Also, a huge thank you for the lovely compliment about my blog & writing… very much likewise! 🙂
Yes, unfortunately there are SO many people suffering from anxiety and panic attacks out there that simply never have it diagnosed or receive any help – there needs to be so much more awareness on such a limiting condition to cope with 😦 Xo
