Howdy lovelies…
Firstly, I’d like to say a huge Happy Thanksgiving to all my chums across the Atlantic, although we don’t celebrate it here in Ireland my social news-feeds have been awash with tidings of thanksgiving joy & celebrations! I do hope you all enjoyed your yummy meals, gave thanks for all you’re grateful for & spent time with your nearest and dearest. What an awesome holiday, we should all be doing that more often don’t you think?!
So today I bring you yet another Behind The Blog fun-filled interview! If you’re new to Confetti & Curves and need updating on what this is all about (in that case: Welcome… come in & settle your petals!) then click *here* to get up to speed, you might even find yourself joining in! *woo hoo*
So this morning I have the lovely Asa from Lace & Pearls joining me. For those of you who haven’t met her yet, do drop by her blog and say hi, she really is a welcoming soul who loves to chat & interact – something I personally love in a blogger! You’ll also find she’s incredibly creative and inspiring, especially when it comes to personal style! So enough from me, I hope you enjoy getting to know her gorgeous self just as much as I have…
In only 5 words describe what readers can expect from your blog:
Outfits, inspiration, beauty, hair, lifestyle.
What inspired you to start blogging?
I’ve wanted to start a blog for a few years now. I have always loved fashion and wanted to be a part of the community. I worked for 5 years in a buying office and then recently made the switch to healthcare. Since then I have yearned to do something in fashion. I also need a creative outlet to improve my writing and make friends with like-minded people.
Do you ever suffer from Blogger’s Block & if so how do you overcome it?
I haven’t experience blogger’s block yet, but I’ve only been blogging for a month and a half. That’s why I constantly have drafts started to give me some direction.
What’s your favourite post to date? *Please include link*
My favorite post to date is my first post for Lace & Pearls. It is incredibly scary to put yourself out there and I am proud that I finally took the plunge.

What’s your dream job?
Fashion Editor or Public Relations Specialist in the fashion industry.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Professional: I would like to be somewhere where I’m passionate about the company and the work. I have a BA in communications, so something in public relations or fashion would be a good fit.
Personal: I want to be debt free and purchasing our first home in a cozy Seattle neighbourhood, possibly own a Pomeranian (I’ve never had a pet).
What top 5 things are on your bucket list?
Travel outside of the US. I want Paris to be our first stop
Visit New York

What’s your biggest achievement to date?
I have two; going to college and marrying my husband.
Who inspires you?
My mom, she is the most selfless person I know. So compassionate and always puts others first.
Name 3 things that’s top of your Christmas list:
Since I am a shopaholic I don’t need any gifts this year. I am most looking forward to the following:
1) Spending time with my mom, husband, and in-laws
2) Seeing my best friend during the holidays
3) Sleeping in
What top tips would you give to someone who is thinking of starting their own blog?
Go for it and write what you love. The rest will come with time. Don’t focus on getting things perfect, you will learn as you go. Write often and post regularly. Look for inspiration in everything you do and always have something to jot down your ideas so you have something to reference when it’s time to write.
