Calling All Bloggers

Hello lovelies…

I trust you’ve all had a super week? I certainly have, however there was something a little extra special about yesterday. Why? Well, my cherished little corner of the inter-web (aka Confetti & Curves) turned exactly 1 month old *Yaaay* Honestly, I can’t believe it – where the heck has the time gone? It only seems like last week I was creating my first post, but here I am celebrating a whole month of them!

Even though it’s only a mere four weeks, I just wanted to thank each and every one of you for making me feel so welcome, for reading my posts, hitting the like button and even putting the energy into leaving a comment or two – and of course, as most of you know only too well I’m a bit of a chatter box so I love reading and replying to each of them individually. In 30 days Confetti & Curves has gained 135 new followers, 2 rather fetching little awards and over 1200 hits – isn’t that amazing? I know, I know, it might be a teeny amount compared to some but for me it’s HUUUGE! However, it’s pretty obvious that my little blog wouldn’t be the happy place it is without you gorgeous lot dropping by to show your support and readership –  something I am beyond grateful for.

So as a way of saying thank YOU for all your support (and to discover a little more about you guys) I thought it would be a fab idea to run an occasional post titled ‘Behind The Blog’ which will feature a small, fun and informative interview with any of my lovely followers who feel they’d like to participate. Sounds fun? It sure will be! Basically I’ll email over a list of questions for you to fill in and return to me so I can feature your interview as a blog post. Obviously each post will feature one blogger at a time but hopefully it will give myself & potential new followers the chance to learn a little bit more about YOU – the person behind the blog, and hopefully spread the love of your own little blogging world into the mix. Are you up for it? I sure hope so! I’ve met some amazing bloggers over this last month that I’m looking forward to getting to know a little bit better… so whether you’ve been following Confetti and Curves for the last 4 weeks or just 4 minutes, if you’re interested in a signing up for a jolly mini interview just leave a comment in the box below along with a link to your blog and I’ll be in touch pronto!

    Time does just fly by when you’re blogging, doesn’t it?! I think we started our blogs at about the same time and I know I have found it such a rewarding process to be able to post and read all the lovely comments by readers.

  7. Karen congrats on your 1 month anniversary! Mine was yesterday too and I didn’t even realize. I love your blog and your writing style and am really impressed by the growth of your blog. I am still trying to learn as I go. Viewing stats can be discouraging and I would love to hear some blogging tips from you in a possible future post. I also enjoy your graphics and am curious what you use to create them.

  19. Hi karen, congratulations to your success, been inspired reading this post. I started to blog last year, but it didnt move that much, since I didnt allocate a regular time for it. But yeah, now I guess I have to push more, it is a stress reliever and fun.

    Just wanted to say hello and love your blog! Especially the little photo studio tutorial. Whenever I feature products I just pull images off the internet and make a collage. I may try out taking my own photos for a more personal touch. Also, congratulations on the success of your blog thus far! Do you have any good tips on meeting other bloggers? I have met a few but after a few months it seems they disappear out of the blogging world.

So glad you like the little tutorial and that it just may come in handy for you too – I use mine all the time now and it’s just so easy & quick for product shots!
