7 (very random *ahem*) Facts About Me:

1) I still own my first pair of shoes! Here’s the evidence ladies…

 First shoes

(They look like something from a museum!!!! *sobs*)

2) I used to live in a very haunted apartment. Although that was over a decade ago the poor landlord still has huge issues getting tenants to stay put and it unfortunately it still remains empty, very spooky indeed!

3) I’m obsessed with owls – such gorgeous creatures!

4) I can’t stand celery and absolutely hate the taste of red wine *blurgh*

5) When I left school I wanted to be an embalmer… much to my dad’s relief that didn’t happen & I went on to open a bridal shop instead!

6) I love walking through graveyards, they’re so peaceful… I really do sound a bit of a morbid little weirdo right now *sighs*

7) I’m terrified of flying, spiders and clowns.

My Nominees Are:

Two Little Owls

Redeem Cliche

The Pink Impact

(No pressure to accept ladies & apologies if you’ve already been nominated in the past!)

  1. I really enjoyed reading this! Owls are absolutely stunning! 😀 Spiders are terrifying, I don’t blame you at all for being afraid of them. I always go running a mile! 😀
Thank you for the lovely words you had about me. I’m glad that we have this chance to get to know each other better. You are a stunning human being. 🙂

    • Aww, thank you so much Nadine, that’s such a incredibly lovely thing to say, you are always so encouraging and positive. It’s such a blessing to find someone that I consider a great friend I’ve yet to meet 🙂 Yes, I adore owls, but spiders are horrific. Thankfully here in N. Ireland we don’t have huge tarantulas but that still doesn’t make them any less awful. lol 😀 x

      • Ireland looks like it is incredibly beautiful! It’s definitely on my ‘places to visit one day’ list. 🙂
We also don’t have many giant spiders here in the city but every now and then a human-hand sized rain spider will make its creepy appearance. I woke up to one above my bed the other morning. Needless to say I jumped out of bed and was completely awake after that. 😀 haha
It truly is such a blessing and also so amazing that we are able to communicate so easily from basically opposite sides of the world. 🙂 x

      • Arrrrrrrghgghhhhg Nadine I’ve just googled it *squirms* they take nightmares to a whole other level. I’m afraid you’d have probably heard me all the way to South Africa had I have woke with that above my head!!! Poor you – so traumatising 😦 Yes, it really is – the wonders of the world wide web eh?! hehe x

      • Thank goodness my mom isn’t scared of spiders otherwise that thing would have just had to stay until it died and I would probably have never wanted to enter my room again. The possibility that that thing crawled over me to get to where it was… :/ I am a heavy sleeper so it is quite possible that I wouldn’t have woken if it crawled on me. Hahaha oh dear! That would be one loud scream. 😀 I was checking under cabinets and all sorts of surfaces the entire day after. My mom told me about the ‘wonderful’ fact that rain spiders come in pairs too and the next day when I was returning from my jog, I found the other one above my neighbour’s front door. hahaha at least it wasn’t me this time. 😀 Thank goodness we don’t come across them often. xx
